As you become more familiar with how to dash, it's easy to add batched offers to your regular routes — read on to learn how to master batched offers.

What Are Batched Offers?

Batched offers are multiple delivery requests that can be combined in a single trip. Dashers may complete two or more offers as a batch, allowing them to earn more and maximize time spent on the road.

How Do Batched Offers Work?

When you receive a batched offer in your app, you'll be presented with multiple delivery requests on your Dash Screen. Sometimes (though not always) batched offers can be picked up at the same restaurant. This can be a good way for a Dasher to increase earnings and efficiency. Batches may happen at any time, but tend to be more frequent during peak delivery hours.

How Do I Accept Batched Offers?

There are two ways to do this:

1. On the offer screen, you can accept an offer that displays two or more offers at the same time.

2. Alternatively, you can accept an additional offer while en route to pick up your first offer by selecting the "Add to Route" button.

Note:  Declining any offer will affect your acceptance rate.

Tips from Seasoned Dashers

Seasoned Dashers have shared three tips to keep in mind when doing a batched offer:

1. Double-Check the Details of Each Offer

As you are handling multiple offers at the same time, it's important to be extra cautious that all of the items are correct. When picking up an order at the merchant's place of business, check to be sure that all items are in each order before you begin driving.

Also, once you arrive at a customer's address to drop off their order, check the receipt for each order and match it with the right customer's address in the Dasher App. This way, you'll avoid mixing up orders for different customers.

2. Deliver Efficiently

The Dash Tab Map will always suggest an order of operations for the batch offer, but of course, you are free to use your best judgment when choosing how to deliver each one. As the Dasher, you are the final decision maker, and if you have a reason to change the order of drop-offs to make it more convenient for you, you are free to do so.

To see all of the offers during a batch (and switch between them if you wish), tap the menu at the top of the Dasher app.

3. Communicate Effectively

Communicate with customers to update them on the status of their order, item availability, and any additional information regarding their order to keep them informed as the delivery progresses. Setting expectations appropriately can go a long way.

By following these tips, you'll be able to navigate batched offers with confidence and provide excellent service to customers.
