Every Dasher has a number they're working toward — enough to cover rent, a car payment, maybe just some breathing room at the end of the month. You know what it is, even if you've never written it down.

The problem? Until now, the app didn't give you a way to track whether you were actually on pace to hit it.

That changes with the new weekly earnings goal tracker.

What is the earnings goal tracker?

The weekly earnings goal tracker is a new feature built into the Dasher app that lets you:

  • Set a personalized weekly earnings target

  • Track your progress in real time as you dash

  • Celebrate milestones along the way

Your goal is based on your actual dashing history: your market, your typical hours, what you've earned before. It's not a random number. It's a target that was built around you.

And you're always in control. Adjust your goal up or down or skip it entirely. Whatever fits your week.

How the earnings goal tracker works

Step 1: Set Your Goal

Head to the Earnings tab in the Dasher app. You'll see a goal setup flow with suggested weekly targets (Light, Recommended, and Ambitious) each showing how many hours it typically takes to get there.

Use the slider to pick what fits. Not sure? Start with Recommended. You can change it anytime.

Step 2: Track Progress While You Dash

Once your goal is set, you'll see a progress bar right in the Earnings tab and on your dash screen, a note letting you know how close you are.

No more guessing. No more manually recording your earnings history and doing the math in your head. The app shows you exactly where you stand.

Step 3: Celebrate the Win (Then Set Another)

Hit your goal? You'll see it. The Dasher app acknowledges the milestone. Progress deserves recognition, not just a number flipping to zero.

Didn't quite make it this week? You'll get a gentle prompt to adjust for next week — not a guilt trip, just a nudge. Goals reset automatically every Monday morning.

"I like seeing my progress — it's motivating. It helps me stay out just a bit longer to hit my goal."

Why this feature actually matters

Without a bigger picture view of your earnings throughout the week, every slow stretch can feel like a setback. Every quiet Tuesday feels like lost ground — even when it isn't.

The weekly earnings goal tracker gives you that perspective. Instead of evaluating each offer in isolation, you're tracking week-level progress.

In early testing, Dashers exposed to the earnings goal tracker reported meaningfully higher clarity around how they earn and how their week is going. The biggest benefits they shared came from understanding what actions they could make to actually move the needle on their weekly earnings outcome.

That's not a small thing. That's the difference between dashing with a plan and just hoping the week adds up.

Who can use the new earnings goal tracker?

The new weekly earnings goal tracker is rolling out first to all Platinum Dashers in April 2026. Not seeing it yet? No worries! Access is coming over the next few weeks.

Dx - Earnings Goal Tracker Image - FAQ

Your progress shows up in the Earnings tab throughout the week.

How is my suggested Earnings goal calculated?

Your suggested goal is based on your historical earnings and hours in your market. It's meant to feel achievable — not like a stretch you can't hit. You'll see three options (Light, Recommended, Ambitious), and the app tells you roughly how many hours each one typically requires.

Can I change my goal mid-week?

Yes. Life happens — adjust your goal anytime from the Earnings tab. If your schedule changes or you want to aim higher, the feature adapts.

What happens if I miss my goal?

Nothing. The app shows you how you did, and suggests you recalibrate for next week if needed. Missing a goal isn't a failure, it's information. Maybe the target was too high, or it was a slow week in your zone. Either way, you'll get a fresh start on Monday.

Does the weekly earnings goal tracker affect my pay or acceptance rate?

No. earnings goal tracker is a visibility and tracking tool. It has no effect on how offers are sent to you, your acceptance rate, or your Dasher tier status. It's just there to help you plan.

When will the weekly earnings goal tracker be available for all Dashers?

We're starting with Platinum Dashers and exploring how to expand access from there. Keep an eye on your Earnings tab — if it's available for your account, you'll see the prompt to set up a goal.
